This has been a great term where all of our students have participated in exciting learning programs and activities including:

  • The Discovery Centre’s visit to ACMI and the NGV as a part of their focus on creativity
  • Creativity students applying their maths skills to plan a party and working together in their ‘I am An Individual’ workshops
  • Innovation students designing and building their own dream houses and sharing them with their families at the Expo
  • The successful Leadership Centre Production
  • Year 3 Camp at Arrabri
  • The Book Week parade and author visits
  • Jump Rope for Heart ‘Jump Off’
  • An enjoyable School Disco run by the Parents


  • The inaugural book swap
  • The introduction of digital portfolios
  • The Father’s Day pancake breakfasts and gift stall organised by the Parents Association
  • Dance performances by some of our Creativity students at Lynden Aged Care and at the whole school at assembly
  • Visits from Camberwell High School students to help with PMP
  • Some of our Year 3 students creating art with St Paul’s kindergarten to share at their Art Show
  • Our Year 6 students working with Canterbury Girls’

    Secondary College to learn more about sustainable gardens

  • Welcoming three students and a teacher from Suzhou for a week in July
  • A successful Year 3 and 4 working bee last Saturday where parents worked together to put new plants into the ground, tidy up the yard and install the new flying fox in the senior playground.
